Until She has a FAMILY!

Does God call us to Adopt?
Does He call us to help a specific orphan?
That's the only way I can explain my connection to a special young lady. See, I first discovered her during a Winter hosting program. I just knew we would host her that Summer...but didn't. A host family did come forward for her...but then had to back out. So, we were offered another chance to host but got scared and let her get another family. So after Summer hosting she still needs an adoptive family ASAP. Why the rush?

*She be 16 years old in April which means she will be turned out onto the streets with no means to make it on her own. She may very well become a statistic and commit suicide and/or become involved in prostitution.

*She lives in an orphanage reported to be 'one of the worst'! I've come to understand this to mean a lack of food, water, power and older kids in gang mode to survive. A simple shower we take for granted here in our comfy homes is a bucket of water on occasion there. Clothes are not your own and clean ones are rare. Maybe to some children, this is all they know but this young lady lived with her mother until swine flu took her away within the last couple of years. Imagine what a life altering shock that must have been !!!!!!

So, until SHE HAS A FAMILY I will do all I can to help her, despite many dead ends already.  Won't you join in praying for Anya and watch God's amazing plan unfold? I can't save all orphans but Maybe I can help make a difference in the life of ONE!

Reasons To Adopt:

God says he wants the orphan taken care of.
God says His will is that none of these little ones perish.
God says we are to "hold back those being led away to slaughter."
God says whoever welcomes one of these little ones in His name welcomes Him.
The rewards of this life are fleeting, but the rewards of anything we give up here for the Lord are eternal.
Well Said Boston!

Reasons to Adopt

God did not create us to let us live out our lives in our comfort zone! Because if you were walking past a burning building and heard a child crying inside, you'd rush in and save that child, right? Would you worry that you might ruin your shoes, or sacrifice your comfort or convenience? No, you wouldn't. You'd save that child. Well, there are many burning buildings, and they are called Russia and Ukraine and Serbia and Bulgaria---and the list goes on. And there are children crying, and they need to be saved. ~~Thank you Ashley for your words of wisdom!~~
